तंत्र कहता है कि उस अवस्था का नाम भैरव है जब मन नहीं रहता—अ-मन की अवस्था है। और तब पहली दफा तुम यथार्थत:
उसको देखते हो जो है। जब तक मन है, तुम अपना ही संसार रचे जाते हो, तुम उसे आरोपित, प्रक्षेपितत किए जाते हो, इसलिए पहले तो मन को बदलो- और तब मन को अ-मन में बदलो-।
और ये एक सौ बारह विधि- सभी लोग- के काम आ सकती है। हो सकता है, कोई विशेष उपाय तुमको ठीक न पड़े, इसलिए
तो 'शिव अनेक उपाय बताए चले जातेहै । कोई एक विधि चुन लो जो तुमको जंच जाए।
लेकिन ये एक सौ बारह विधियां तो समस्त मानव-जाति के'लिए है। और वे उन सभी युग- के'लिए है जो गुजर गए है और
आने वाले है। और किसी भी युग में एक भी एका आदमी नहीं हुआ और न होनेवाला है। जो कह सके कि ये सभी एक सौ
बारह विधियां मेरे' लिए व्यर्थ है। असंभव , यह असंभव है।
प्रत्येक ढंग के चित्त के'लिए यहां गुंजाइश है। तंत्र में प्रत्येक किस्म के चित्त के' लिए विधि है। कई विधियां भी है जिनके उपयुक्त
आदमी अभी उपलब्ध नहीं है, वे भविष्य के लिए है। और ऐसी विधियां भी है जिनके उपयुक्त मनुष्य रहे ही नहीं । वे अतीत के लिए है। लेकिन डर मत जाना। अनेक विधियां है जो तुम्हारे लिए ही है।
