भृकुटियों केबीच अवधान को स्थिर कर विचार को मन के सामने रखो।‘’
अगर यह अवधान प्राप्त हो जाए तो पहली बार एक अद्दभुत बात तुम्हारे अनुभव में आएगी। पहली बार तुम देखोगे कि तुम्हारे विचार तुम्हारे सामने चल रहे है, तुम साक्षी हो जाओगे। जैसे कि सिनेमा के पर्दे पर दृश्य देखते हो, वैसे ही तुम देखोगे कि विचार आ रहे है, और तुम साक्षी हो। एक बार तुम्हारा अवधान त्रिनेत्र केंद्र ? पर स्थिर हो जाए तुम तुरंत विचारों के साक्षी हो जाओगे। आमतौर से तुम साक्षी नहीं होते, तुम विचारों के साथ तादात्म्य कर लेते हो। यदि क्रोध है तो तुम क्रोध हो जाते हो। यदि एकविचार चलता है तो उसके साक्षी होने की बजाए तुम विचार के साथ एक हो जाते हो। उससे तादात्म्य करके साथ-साथ चलने लगते हो। तुम विचार ही बन जाते हो, विचार का रूप ले लेते हो, जब क्रोध उठता है तो तुम क्रोध बन जाते हो। और जब लोभ उठता है तब लोभ बन जाते हो। कोई भी विचार तुम्हारे साथ एकात्म हो जाता है। और उसके और तुम्हारे बीच दूरी नहीं
रहती। लेकिन तीसरी आँख पर स्थिर होते ही तुम एकाएक साक्षी हो जाते हो। तीसरी आँख के जरिए तुम साक्षी बनते हो। इस शिवनेत्र के द्वारा तुम विचारों को वैसे ही चलता देख सकते हो जैसे आसमान पर तैरते बादलों को, या राह पर चलते लोगो को देखते हो ।
