लाओत्से को हुए कोई ढाई हजार वर्ष हो गए। ढाई हजार वर्ष में कितने लोग आए होंगे ! लेकिन लाओत्से के आगे कोई भी आदमी
खड़ा नहीं हो सका। और यह आदमी ऐसा था कि बिलकुल पीछे खड़ा हो गया था। इसके पीछे खड़े होने का हिसाब लगाना मुश्किल है। कहा जाता है की लाओत्से मरने के पहले चीन को छोड़ दिया; सिर्फ इसीलिए कि कोई उसकी समाधि न बना दे। मरने के पहले चीन छोड़ दिया, क्योंकि मरेगा तो कहीं कोई समाधि बना कर एक पत्थर न खड़ा कर दे। क्योंकि जब मैंने कोई निशान नहीं बनाए , तो मेरे मरने के बाद कोई निशान क्यों हो! लेकिन जो इस तरह अपने को पोंछ कर हट गया, उसे हम पोंछ नहीं पाए । सदियां बीत जाएं,
लाओत्से को हम पोंछ नहीं सकते। वह ठीक कहता है कि तत्वविद अपने को पीछे रखते हैं, फिर भी वे सदा आगे पाए जाते हैं।
यह सदा आगे पाए जाने के लिए पीछे मत रख लेना। ऐसा नहीं होता। कि कोई सोेेचे की चलो, ठीक है, तरकीब हाथ लगी; पीछे रख
लो, आगे हो जाओ। नहीं, जो पीछे हो जाते हैं, वे आगे पाए जाते हैं। लेकिन अगर किसी ने अपने को आगे होने के लिए पीछे रखा, तो वह पीछे ही हो जाता है; आगे होने का कोई उपाय नहीं है।
तो इसमें कॉजल नहीं है, इसमें कोई कार्य-कारण संबंध नहीं है; कांसीक्वेंस है। यह खयाल रखना, नहीं तो भूल होती है। नहीं तो भूल होती है। लोग कहते हैं, अच्छी बात है। उनके मन को तृप्ति मिलती है। अहंकार कहता है, यह तो बहुत बढियां बात है। बिना आगे हुए आगे होने की तरकीब हाथ लगती है, तो हम पीछे हुए जाते हैं। लेकिन आगे हो जाएंगे? नहीं, पीछे हो जाता है अगर कोई आगे होने के लिए , तो पीछे होता ही नहीं। पीछे होने का मतलब ही है कि आगे का खयाल ही न रहा।
इसलिए दूसरा जो वाक्य है, इट इज़ नॉट लिंक्ड कॉजली । यह पहले वाक्य के परिणाम की तरह नहीं है कि आग में हाथ डालो तो हाथ जलता है। ऐसा नहीं है। यह कांसीक्वेंस है, यह परिणाम है। इसको गणित की तरह मत सोेचना कि पीछे खड़े हो जाएं, तो आगे पाएं जाएंगे। कभी न पाएं जाएंगे। पीछे खड़ा हो जाए कोई, तो आगे पाया जाता है। लेकिन पीछे खड़े होने का मतलब यह है कि आगे का जिससे खयाल ही छूट गया है। उसे फिर पता ही नहीं चलता की मैं आगे खड़ा हूं, पीछे खड़ा हूं। मैं कहां हूं, यह उसे पता ही नहीं चलता है।

We cannot wipe Laotse. He is right that even though metaphysicians keep themselves behind, they are always found ahead.
Do not keep it back to always be found forward. Does not happen like this. Let someone think, okay, trick got; Put back
Take it, go ahead. No, those who fall behind are found ahead. But if someone puts himself behind to be ahead, then he is behind; There is no way to be ahead.
So there is no water in it, there is no work-cause relationship in it; It is a conversation. Take care, otherwise it is a mistake. Otherwise it is a mistake. People say, it's good. His mind gets satisfaction. The ego says, this is a great thing. If there is an idea to be ahead without being ahead, then we go backward. But will you be ahead? No, it becomes backward if someone is to be ahead, it is not backward. Being back means that there is no further consideration.
Hence the second sentence, It Is Not Linked Causely. It is not like the result of the first sentence that if you put your hands in the fire, the hand burns. It's not like this. This is a conversation, this is the result. Do not think of it like mathematics, that if you stand back, you will get ahead. Will never be found. If someone stands behind, it is found forward. But standing back means that the front has lost its mind. He does not know again that I am standing forward, standing back. He does not know where I am.
