वैज्ञानिक कहता है, सारा जगत अणुओं का एक ढेर है; और प्रत्येक अणु अलग है, दूसरे अणु से उसका कोई जोड़ नहीं है। जुड़ भी नहीं सकता, चाहे तो भी नहीं जुड़ सकता। दो अणुओं के बीच गहरी खाई है, कोई अणु जुड़ नहीं सकता। सारा जगत, जैसे रेत के टुकडों का ढेर लगा हो, ऐसा सारा जगत अणुओं का ढेर है।
जगत अणुओं का ढेर है? या विज्ञान की पद्धति ऐसी है कि अणुओं का ढेर मालूम पड़ता है?
स्त्रैण-चित्त,अनुभुति से चलने वाला व्यक्ति कहता है, जगत में दो ही नहीं हैं। अनेक की तो बात ही अलग; दो भी नहीं हैं,द्वैत भी
नहीं है। जगत एक ही विराट है। वह जोड़ कर सोेचता है। जोड़ता चला जाता है। जब जोड़ने को कुछ नहीं बचता, और सारा जगत जुड़
जाता है।
स्त्री जोड़ने की भाषा में सोेचती है। पुरुष तोड़ने की भाषा में सोेचता है–यह पुरुष-चित्त! स्त्री-चित्त जोड़ने की भाषा में सोेचता है। और जहां जोड़ना है, वहां नतीजे दूसरे होंगे। और जहां तोड़ना है, वहां नतीजे दूसरे होंगे। ध्यान रहे, जहां तोड़ना है, वहां आक्रमण होगा।
इसलिए पश्चिम के वैज्ञानिक कहते हैं,वी आर कांकरिंग नेेचर, हम प्रकृत को जीत रहे हैं। लेकिन पूरब में लाओत्से जैसे लोग कभी
