स्त्रियों ने कोई शस्त्र विकसित नहीं की हैं। लड़ने का खयाल ही स्त्री के लिए बेमानी है। युद्ध अर्थहीन है। जीतने की बात ही
प्रयोजन की नहीं है। स्त्रैण-चित्त असल में जीतने की भाषा में नहीं सोेचता, समर्पण की भाषा में सोेचता है। इसे ठीक से समझ लें।
स्त्री के चित्त का जो केंद्र है, वह समर्पण, सरेंडर है। पुरुष के चित्त का जो केंद्र है, वह संकल्प, संघर्ष, विजय, इस तरह की बातें है।
लाओत्से को समझेंगे, तब हमारे खयाल में आएगा कि वह कहता है, जो समर्पण कर सकता है, छोड़ सकता है, सरेंडर कर सकता है, वही विराट सत्य को पाने के लिए अपने भीतर जगह बना सकता है। तर्क पुरुष का लक्षण है, संघर्ष उसका लक्षण है।
समर्पण और तर्क हीन आस्था, या कहें श्रद्धा, स्त्रैण-चित्त का लक्षण है। वह जो अंतदृष्टि है, इंटयूशन है, वह श्रद्धा के बीच पैदा होती है;
भरोसे के, ट्रस्ट के बीच पैदा होती है। अगर पुरुष को श्रद्धा भी करनी पड़े, तो वह करनी पड़ती है, वह उसके लिए सहज नहीं है। वह कहता है कि अच्छा, बिना श्रद्धा के नहीं हो सकेगा, तो मैं श्रद्धा किए लेता हूं। लेकिन की गई श्रद्धा का कोई मूल्य नहीं है। और जब कोई श्रद्धा करता है, तो भीतर संदेह बना ही रहता है। की गई श्रद्धा का अर्थ ही यह होता है की संदेह भीतर मौजूद है। गहरे में संदेह होगा, ऊपर श्रद्धा होगी।
