इसलिए ये सदा रह सकते हैं, इनके मिटने की कोई जरूरत नहीं है। मिटता केवल अहंकार है। इस जगत में मिटने वाली चीज केवल अहंकार है। केवल एक ही चीज है, जो मॉर्टेल है। इसे थोड़ा कठिन होगा खयाल में लेना। इस जगत में न तो पदार्थ मिटता कभी, न आत्मा मिटती कभी, सिर्फ मिटता है अहंकार। शरीर कभी नहीं मिटता। मेरा यह शरीर,मैं नहीं था, तब भी था। इसका एक- एक कण मौजूद था। इसमें कुछ नया नहीं है। इस शरीर में जो कुछ भी है, वह सब मौजूद था। जब मैं नहीं था, तब भी । जब मैं नहीं रहूंगा, तब भी मेरे शरीर का एक कण भी मरेगा नहीं, सब मौजूद रहेगा। शरीर तो शाश्वत है, कुछ मरने वाला नहीं है उसमें ।
वैज्ञानिक कहते हैं कि हम एक छोटे से कण को भी नष्ट नहीं कर सकते। कुछ भी नष्ट नहीं किया जा सकता। शरीर में सब कुछ जो
है, वह शाश्वत है। जल जल में मिल जाएगा; आग आग में खो जाएगी; आकाश आकाश से एक हो जाएगा। लेकिन सब शाश्वत है।
आकार खो जाएगा; लेकिन जो भी उस आकार में छिपा है, वह सब मौजूद रहेगा। मेरी आत्मा भी नहीं मरती। फिर मरता कौन है?
