ध्यान का तो अर्थ यह है कि प्रक्षेपण बिलकुल न हो। अगर यह कागज का फूल है, तो जिस कागज का फूल है, उसकी ही गंध आनी
चाहिए । जिस कागज का फूल, क्योंकि कागजों में गंध होती है। अगर आप रूसी कागज की किताब देखें, तो आपको गंध अलग मिलेगी। क्योंकि रूस का वृक्ष और चीड़ , जिनसे वह कागज बनता है, अलग हैं। अगर आप जापानी किताब देखें, उसमें गंध अलग होती है। मैं तो किताबों को देखते-देखते ऐसा हैरान हुआ कि अगर आंख बंद करके मेरी नाक के पास किताब लाई जाए , तो मैं कह सकता हूं किस देश की है। उनकी गंध अलग है। क्योंकि हर मुल्क की लकड़ी की गंध अलग है, जिससे वे बनते हैं कागज, वेसब के भिन्न हैं।
तो कागज का फूल किस कागज का बना है, इसकी गंध अगर आ जाए , तो मैं कहूंगा वह आदमी ध्यान में है। तथ्य को वैसा ही जान
लेना जैसा वह है, उसमें कुछ अपनी तरफ से न जोड़ना। लेकिन हम सब जोड़ते हैं। यह कोई अभिनेता ही जोड़ता है, ऐसा नहीं। हम सब जोड़ते हैं। हम सब वह देखते हैं, जो नहीं है। हम सब
कागज के फूलों में गुलाब के फूल देखने में कुशल हैं–हम सब!
