ताओ बड़ा सक्रिय है, बहुत डायनेमिक फोर्स है शून्य। और उस शून्य का बड़ा उपयोग है। असल में , उपयोग ही शून्य का होता है।
उपयोग का अर्थ है कि जैसे ही कोई व्यक्ति शून्य हो जाता। जो अधूरापन था, उसने फेंक दिया। पूर्ण होने की कोशिश न की, क्योंकि पूर्ण होने की कोशिश में चीजें बढ़ानी पड़ती थीं। उसने चीजें उठा कर फेंक दीं। उसने पूर्ण होने का, मकान बनाने का ख्याल ही छोड़ दिया । अब जब वह अपूर्ण नहीं रहा, तो उसे क्या कहिएगा ? अपूर्णता का सब इंतजाम उसने उठा कर फेंक दिया, अब वह अपूर्ण नहीं रहा। अब उसे क्या कहिएगा ? शून्य तो हम सिर्फ इसलिए कहते हैं ताकि दृष्टि शून्य होने की तरफ लग जाए । जिस दिन कोई व्यक्ति अपने भीतर से सब साज-सामान फेंक देता है, पूर्ण होने की सब योजना प्लांनिग फेंक देता है, सब इंतजाम छोड़ देता है, खाली हो जाता है, उस दिन पूर्ण हो जाता है। अपूर्णता से मुक्त हो जाना पूर्ण हो जाना है।
इसलिए लाओत्से कहता है, इसके उपयोग में सभी प्रकार की पूर्णताओं से सावधान रहना अपेक्षित है। यह कितना गंभीर है! यह शून्य ! यह शून्य कितना गंभीर है! यह शून्य कितना अथाह है, मानो यह सभी पदार्थो का उदगम हो ! जिससे सभी कुछ पैदा हुआ हो, जिससे सभी कुछ निकला हो, जिससे सभी कुछ जन्मा हो। जैसे यह सम्मानित पूर्वज है, सब का पिता है, सब की जननी है, सब का उदगम-स्रोत है।

Usage means that as soon as a person becomes zero. The incompleteness, he threw. Did not try to be perfect, because things had to be increased while trying to complete. He threw things away. He left the idea of completion, building a house. Now when he is no longer incomplete, what will he say? He threw away all the arrangements of imperfection, he is no longer incomplete. What will you call him now? We say zero only so that the vision starts towards being zero. The day a person throws away all the equipment from within, plans for completion, throws planning, abandons all arrangements, becomes vacant, is completed on that day. To become free from imperfection is to become complete.
Therefore, Lao Tzu says, it is necessary to be careful with all kinds of completions in its use. This is so serious! This zero! How serious is this void! How unfathomable is this void, as if it were the origin of all matter! From which everything is born, from which everything is born, from which everything is born. Just like it is a respected ancestor, father of all, mother of all, source of everything.
