अहंकार जब ढल जाता है, तो मैं की वह जो आखों को चुभने वाली ज्वाला है, वह मिट जाती है, अहंकार डूब जाता है। तब एक आभा रह जाती है भीतर–होने की। तब भी मैं होता हूं; ऐसा नहीं कि मैं नहीं होता हूं। तब भी मैं होता हूं; लेकिन उसमें मै -पन कहीं नहीं होता। तब भी मैं होता हूं; लेकिन बस होता हूं, उसमें आई का, मैं का कोई तूफान नहीं होता। कहीं कोई शोरगुल नहीं होता, कहीं कोई घोषणा नहीं होती। कोई मुझसे पूछेगा, तो कहूंगा,मैं हूं; लेकिन कोई अगर न पूछेगा, तो मुझे पता ही नहीं चलेगा कि मैं हूं। यह मैं किसी के प्रश्न का उत्तर होगा। यह किसी ने पूछा होगा, तो यह मैं शब्द काम में आ गया । अन्यथा कोई नहीं पूछेगा, तो यह मैं कहीं नहीं बनेगा।
लेकिन आपने देखा, अहंकार, कोई पूछे या न पूछे, कोई हो या न हो, होता है। आप अकेले में खड़े हैं, तो भी अहंकार होता है। कोई नहीं है, तो भी होता है।
लाओत्से कहता है, जगमगाहट को मृदु हो जाए ऐसा कुछ करो; कि यह तुम्हारे जो मैं की जगमगाहट है, यह तुम्हारे होने का जो
तीव्र और कटु और विषाक्त रूप है, यह हलका हो जाए ,मृदु हो जाए , शांत हो जाए । आभा रह जाए , प्रकाश मात्र रह जाए ; कहीं कोई आग न बचे ।
ध्यान रहे, आग और प्रकाश एक ही चीज हैं; लेकिन आग जलाती है, प्रकाश जलाता नहीं। एक ही चीज हैं; आग जलाती है, प्रकाश
जलाता नहीं। आग मौत को ला सकती है; प्रकाश जीवन को लाता है। और एक ही चीज हैं। आग में एक जलन है, एक त्वरा है,और प्रकाश में एक मृदुता है। हौले-हौले, पगध्वनि भी नहीं सुनाई पड़ती है प्रकाश की।

When the ego dissolves, the one that is the flame that stings the eyes, disappears, the ego sinks. Then an aura remains of the inner being. I still happen; Not that I don't happen. I still happen; But there is nowhere in it. I still happen; But it just happens, there is no storm in it. There is no noise anywhere, there is no announcement. If anyone asks me, I will say; But if no one asks, I will not know that I am. This will be the answer to someone's question. Someone must have asked this, so this word came in handy. Otherwise no one will ask, then it will not be made anywhere.
But you have seen, ego, no one asks or not, there is someone or not. Even if you are standing alone, there is ego. It happens even if there is none.
Lao Tzu says, let the twinkle become soft; That this is the twinkling of your who I am,
It is sharp and bitter and virile, it becomes light, soft, becomes calm. May the aura remain, the light remain; There is no fire left.
Remember, fire and light are the same thing; But fire burns, light does not burn. Are the same thing; Fire burns light
Does not burn Fire can bring death; Light brings life. And are the same thing. There is a burning sensation in the fire, a spark, and a softness in the light. Even the sound of footsteps is not heard of light.
