लाओत्से कहता है, सब ग्रंथियाँ सुलझा लो । लेकिन कैसे सुलझेंगी ये ग्रंथियां ? जब भी हम सुलझाने चलते हैं, तो एक छोर सुलझाते हैं, दूसरा और उलझ जाता है। हमें सिखाया जाता है कि क्रोध मत करो, क्षमा करो । उलझन खड़ी हो जाएगी। हमें कहा जाता है, घृणा मत करो, प्रेम करो। हमें कहा जाता है, हिंसा मत करो, अहिंसा करो । हमें कहा जाता है, झूठ मत बोलो, सच बोलो । लेकिन इन सब में ग्रंथियाँ उलझेंगी। एकदम दिखाई नहीं पड़ता ऊपर से सतह पर से खोजने पर कि कैसे ग्रंथियाँ उलझेंगी! जो आदमी सच बोलने के लिए पक्का किए हुए है, उसमें क्या ग्रंथियाँ उलझेगी ?
बहुत ग्रंथियाँ उलझेंगी। जिस आदमी ने तय किया कि सच बोलूंगा, उलझन शरूु हुई। एक तो उसे प्रतिपल झूठ का स्मरण करना
पड़ेगा; झूठ क्या है, इसका प्रतिपल खयाल रखना पड़ेगा। अगर झूठ का उसे खयाल मिट जाए , तो सच को बांध कर रखना मुश्किल हो जाएगा। बच्चे इसीलिए झूठ बोल देते हैं, क्योंकि अभी उन्हें झूठ का खयाल नहीं है। इतने सरल हैं कि अभी उन्हें डिस्टिंक्शन नहीं है, क्या सच है और क्या झूठ है।

Lao Tzu says, sort out all the glands. But how will these glands resolve? Whenever we go to solve, we solve one end, the other gets entangled. We are taught not to be angry, sorry. Confusion will arise. We are told, do not hate, love. We are told, do not commit violence, do non-violence. We are told, do not lie, tell the truth. But glands will get entangled in all this. How the glands will get tangled when searching from the surface is not visible at all! What glands will get entangled in a man who is determined to tell the truth?
Many glands will get tangled. The man who decided to tell the truth, got confused. One is to remind him every moment of lies
Will You have to take care of what is a lie. If he takes care of the lie, it will be difficult to keep the truth tied. This is why children lie because they do not have the idea of lies. So simple that they do not yet have a distortion, what is true and what is false.
