तंत्र धर्म नहीं है। विज्ञान है। किसी विश्वास की जरूरत नहीं है। कुरान या वेद में, बुद्ध या महावीर में आस्था रखने की
आवश्यकता नहीं है। न ही, किसी विश्वास की आवश्यकता है। प्रयोग करने का महा साहस पर्याप्त है, प्रयोग करने की हिम्मत काफी है। एक मुसलमान प्रयोग कर सकता है। वह कुरान के गहरे अर्थो को उपलब्ध हो जाएगा। एक हिन्दू प्रयास कर सकता है। और वह पहली दफा जानेगा कि वेद क्या है? वैसे ही एक जैन इस साधना में उतर सकता है, बौद्ध इस साधना में उतर सकता है, एक ईसाई इस साधना में उतर सकता है…वे जहां है तंत्र उन्हें आप्तकाम काम करेगा। उनके अपने चुने हुए रास्ते जो भी हो, तंत्र सहयोगी होगा।
यही कारण है कि जनसाधारण के लिए तंत्र नहीं समझा गया। और सदा यह होता है की जब तुम किसी चीज को नहीं समझते
हो तो उसे गलत जरूर समझते हो। क्योंकि तब तुम्हें लगता है। कि समझते जरूर हो। तुम रिक्त स्थान में बने रहने को राज़ी
नहीं हो। दूसरी बात कि जब तुम किसी चीज को नहीं समझते हो, तुम उसे गाली देने लगते हो। यह इसलिए की यह तुम्हें अपमानजनक लगता है। तुम सोचते हो, तुम और नहीं समझूं, यह असंभव है। इस चीज के साथ ही कुछ भूल होगी। और तब तुम गाली देने लगते हो। तब तुम ऊलजलूल बकने लगते हो। और कहते हो की अब ठीक है। इस लिए तंत्र को नहीं समझा गया। और तंत्र को गलत समझा गया। महान राज भौज ने पवित्र उज्जैन नगर में तंत्र के विद्द्यापीठ को खतम कर दिया। एक लाख तांत्रिक जोड़ों- को काट दिया। क्यों ये क्या है, हमारी समझ में नहीं आता। कुछ साल- पहले वहीं पर राजा विक्रमादित्य ने उन्हीं तांत्रिको को कितना सम्मान दिया…..यह इतना गहरा और उँचा था की यह होना स्वाभाविक था।
