होता है। स्त्री जब किसी को प्रेम करती है, तो वह प्रेम बिलकुल अंधा होता है। उसमें गणित बिलकुल नहीं होता। इसलिए स्त्री और
पुरुष के प्रेम में फर्क पाया जाता है। पुरुष का प्रेम आज होगा, कल खो सकता है। स्त्री का प्रेम खोना बहुत मुश्किल है।
और इसलिए स्त्री-पुरुष के बीच कभी तालमेल नहीं बैठ पाता। क्योंकि आज लगता है प्रेम करने जैसा, कल बुद्धि को लग सकता है न करने जैसा। और आज जो कारण थे, कल नहीं रह जाएंगे। कारण रोज बदल जाएंगे। आज जो स्त्री सुंदर मालूम पड़ती थी, इसलिए प्रेम मालूम पड़ता था; कल निरंतर परिचय के बाद वह सुंदर नहीं मालूम पड़ेगी। क्योंकि सभी तरह का परिचय सौंदर्य को कम कर देता है। अपरिचित में एक आकर्षण है। लेकिन स्त्री कल भी इतना ही प्रेम करेगी, क्योंकि उसके प्रेम में कोई कारण न था। वह उसके पूरे अस्तित्व की पुकार थी। इसलिए स्त्री बहुत फिक्र नहीं करती कि पूरुष सुंदर है या नहीं। इसलिए पुरुष सौंदर्य की चिंता नहीं करता ।
