घाटी की आत्मा कभी नहीं मरती, नित्य है।
इसे हम स्त्रैण रहस्य, ऐसा नाम देते हैं।
इस स्त्रैण रहस्यमयी का द्वार स्वर्ग और पृथ्वी का मूल स्रोत है।
यह सदा अविच्छिन्न है;इसकी शक्ति अखंड है;इसका उपयोग करो,और इसकी सेवा सहज उपलब्ध होती है।
जिसका जन्म है, उसकी मृत्यु भी होगी। जो प्रारंभ होगा, वह अंत भी होगा। वही केवल मृत्यु के पार हो सकता है, जिसका जन्म न
हो। और वही केवल अनंत हो सकता है, जो अनाहद हो। प्रकाश जन्मता है, मिट जाता है। अंधकार सदा है। शायद इस भांति कभी न सोेचा हो। सूर्य निकलता है, सांझ ढल जाता है। दीया जलता है, बाती चूक जाती है, बुझ जाती है। जब दीया नहीं जला था, तब भी अंधकार था। जब दीया जला ,अंधकार हमें दिखाई नहीं पड़ा। दीया बुझ गया, अंधकार अपनी जगह है। अंधकार का बाल भी बांका नहीं होता। और अंधकार कभी बुझता नहीं। और अंधकार का कभी अंत नहीं आता, मोंतक अंधकाय का कबी प्रारंभ नहीं होता। प्रकाश का प्रारंभ होता है, इसलिए प्रकाश का अंत होता है। और भी मजे की बात है, प्रकाश को हम पैदा कर सकते हैं, इसलिए प्रकाश को हम मिटा भी सकते हैं। अंधकार को हम पैदा नहीं कर सकते, इसलिए अंधकार को हम मिटा भी नहीं सकते। अंधकार की शक्ति अनंत है। प्रकाश की शक्ति अनंत नहीं है।
