भरने की तरफ खयाल रखें कि हम प्रतिपल भर रहे हैं। और जितना सजग हो जाएंगे भरने के प्रति, उतना ही धीरे-धीरे पाएंगे कि
भरना बिलकुल फिजूल है। जिंदगी भर भर कर तो भर नहीं पाए ! अनेक जन्मो भर कर नहीं भर पाए ! इधर से भरते हैं, इधर से सब
निकल जाता है। लेकिन भरने का भ्रम कभी छूटता नहीं, क्योंकि भरने पर हम ध्यान ही नहीं देते।
भरने पर थोड़ा ध्यान रखें। और जो-जो भरा हो अब तक और कुछ भी न भर पाया हो, उससे थोड़े सजग हों। एक चौबीस घंटे के
लिए कोई राजी हो जाए कि नहीं भरूंगा! वह पाएगा, यह मन सदा से खाली है, इसमें कभी कुछ भरा ही नहीं जा सका है।
तो उलटा मत पूछें। गलत सवाल न उठाएँ। गलत सवाल गलत जवाबो में ले जाते हैं। ठीक सवाल ठीक जवाब में ले जाता है। ठीक सवाल यह है कि हम जो भर रहे हैं, यह कैसे न भरे ?
और कैसे न भरे का इतना ही मतलब है, थोड़ा सजग हो जाएं। अगर आपको पता चल जाए कि यह ड्रम दोनों तरफ से टूटा है, तो
फिर आप भरेंगे ? हाथ से बालटी छूट जाएगी; हंसेंगे और घर लौट जाएंगे।
उस शून्य को पाना नहीं है, वह शून्य हमारे भीतर है। चमत्कार तो यह है कि हमने उस शून्य को भी भरा हुआ जैसा बना रखा है।
ऐसा लगता है कि सब भरा हुआ है। इस भ्रम के प्रति जागना पर्याप्त है।
