बुद्ध को जिस दिन ज्ञान हुआ, बुद्ध ने कहा, हे मेरे मन के कुम्हार, अब तुझे घड़ा बनाने की जरूरत नहीं पड़ेगी। यह आखिरी बार । और
तुझे धन्यवाद देता हूं, तूने मेरे लिए बहुत घडे बनाए। हे राज, अब तुझे मेरे लिए घड़े न बनाना पड़ेगा। क्योंकि अब तो रहने वाले की
मर्जी ही रहने की न रही। अब मेरे लिए किसी घड़ेकी कोई जरूरत न पड़ेगी।
हर बार, हमारी वासना जो भरने की है, उसी की वजह से हम शरीर निर्मित करते हैं। और जिस दिन हम शून्य होने को राजी हो
जाएंगे, उसी दिन फिर इस शरीर को बनाने की कोई जरूरत न रह जाएगी।
लाओत्से कह रहा है कि वह शून्य आपको पैदा नहीं करना है। आप तो सिर्फ घड़ा ही पैदा करते हैं। कुम्हार भीतर के शून्य का
निर्माण नहीं करता; सिर्फ शून्य के चारों तरफ के दीवार का निर्माण करता है। इसलिए फिर चार पैसे में मिल जाता है। नहीं तो
उतना शून्य तो आप सारी मनुष्य-जाति की संपत्ति लगा दें, तो भी नहीं मिल सकता। वह जो घड़े के भीतर जो खाली आकाश है, सारी
मनुष्य-जाति की सब संपत्ति और सब प्राण लग जाए, तो भी हम उतना सा खाली आकाश पैदा नहीं कर सकते हैं। वह तो है ही। कुम्हार उसको पैदा नहीं करता, कुम्हार तो एक सिर्फ घड़े की दीवार निर्मित करता है; मिट्टी का एक घेरा बना देता है।
इसलिए बुद्ध ने एक बहुत कीमती बात कही, जो नहीं समझी जा सकी। और कीमती बातें नहीं समझी जा सकती हैं। बुद्ध ने कहा,
तुम यह भी मत सोेचना कि तुम्हारे भीतर वही आत्मा चलती है। इसलिए बुद्ध को नहीं समझा जा सका। जैसे मैंने कहा कि कुम्हार
ने घड़ा बनाया; घड़े को आप बाजार से लेकर चले; आप एक इंच हटते हैं कि दूसरा आकाश उस घड़े के भीतर प्रवेश करता है; आप घर आते हैं, फिर दूसरा आकाश, आपके घर का आकाश उसमें प्रवेश करता है। आप वही आकाश लेकर नहीं आते। लेकिन आपको मतलब भी नहीं है आकाश से, आपको भरने से मतलब है। कौन सा आकाश, कोई भी आकाश काम देगा।
बुद्ध ने जब यह बात कही, तो बहुत कठिन हो गई। क्योंकि हम सब को खयाल रहा है कि एक आत्मा हमारे भीतर बैठी है, वही
आत्मा। बुद्ध कहते हैं, नहीं, वह तो तुम यात्रा करते जाते हो और आत्मा बदलती चली जाती है। तुम तो घड़े हो, यात्रा करते हुए ;
आत्मा तो भरा हुआ आकाश है।
बुद्ध कहते हैं, आत्मा एक श्रृंखला है। ए सीरीज ऑफ एक्झिस्टेसेंस, यूनिट
ऑफ एक्झिस्टेंस नहीं। इकाई नहीं। एक श्रृंखला। आप पिछले जन्म में जो आत्मा आपके पास थी, ठीक वही आत्मा आपके पास नहीं है, सिर्फ उसी धारा में है। निश्चित ही, मेरे पास और आपके पास जो आत्मा है, वह अलग हैं। लेकिन भेद दो सीरीज का है।

Lao Tzu is saying that that zero is not to create you. You only produce a pot. Potter's inner void
Does not build; Only forms a wall around the void. So then it gets four paise. not
Even if you put all the wealth of mankind, it cannot be found. All that is the empty sky inside the pot
Even if all the possessions and all the life of mankind start, we cannot create such an empty sky. He is there. The potter does not produce it, the potter only builds a pitcher's wall; Makes a circle of clay.
Therefore Buddha said a very valuable thing, which could not be understood. And precious things cannot be understood. Buddha said,
You should not even think that the same soul moves inside you. Therefore Buddha could not be understood. Like i said potter
Made the pitcher; You take the pitcher from the market; You move an inch so that the second sky enters the pitcher; You come home, then another sky, the sky of your house enters it. You do not bring the same sky. But you don't even mean by the sky, by filling you you mean. Which sky, any sky will work.
When Buddha said this, it became very difficult. Because we are all thinking that a soul is sitting inside us, he is
Soul. Buddha says, no, you go on traveling and the soul keeps changing. You are a pitcher while traveling;
The soul is a sky full.
The soul is a chain, says the Buddha. A Series of Accuracy, Unit
No exit assistance. Not a unit. a series. The soul that you had in your previous life, you do not have the same soul, only in that stream. Certainly, the soul I have and you have are different. But the distinction is of two series.
