लाओत्से जैसे लोगों का जानना है कि वह जो हमारा अहंकार है, अस्मिता है, वह जो हमारा मैं है–कितना ही शुद्ध हो –वह प्रोजेक्टर
है। वह ड्रीम्स पैदा करता है, वह स्वप्न पैदा करता है। वह चीजों को वैसा ही दिखा देता है, जैसा हम देखना चाहते हैं।
एक लाओत्से है! वह कह रहा है कि शून्य सामने खड़ा है, सब खो गया,फिर भी यह नहीं कहता कि यह सत्य है; कहता है,
प्रतिबिंब है शायद। शायद जो परमात्मा के भी पहले था, उसका प्रतिफलन है, सिर्फ एक उसकी छवि है, एक छाया है।
वह इतना ही तपस्यापूर्ण है! इतने ही सजग होने की बात है। मैंने यह अनुभव किया वर्षो तक,अगर किसी को कह दो कि यह कुछ भी नहीं है, तो फिर वह आता ही नहीं। वह इसलिए नहीं आया था कि उसे कुछ खोजना है; वह इसलिए आया था कि आप गवाह बन जाएं कि यह कुछ है। क्षुद्रतम मन की कल्पनाएँ भारी मालूम पड़ती हैं।
अदभुत लोग हैं लाओत्से जैसे लोग!
बुद्ध ने कहा है, जब तक मुझे कुछ भी दिखाई पड़ता रहेगा, तब तक मैं मानूंगा कि अभी सत्य तक नहीं पहुंचा । जब तक कुछ भी दिखाई पड़ता रहेगा, तब तक मैं मानूंगा, अभी तक मैं सत्य तक नहीं पहुंचा। जहां तक दृश्य होगा, वहां तक नहीं ठहरूंगा। मुझे वह
जगह चाहिए , जहां दृश्य न रह जाए, जहां कुछ भी दिखाई न पड़े, जहां कुछ भी न बचे, जहां निखालिस खाली होना मात्र बचे, उसके पहले नहीं।
इसलिए बुद्ध छह साल तक भटके। जिस गुरु के पास जाते…कोई गुरु उनको प्रकाश का दर्शन करा देता। बुद्ध कहते, हो गया प्रकाश
का दर्शन,लेकिन अब ? इसके आगे?
अब और आगे क्या है! प्रकाश का दर्शन हो गया ,बहुत हो गया ।
पर बुद्ध कहते, प्रकाश का दर्शन हो गया,लेकिन कुछ भी तो नहीं हुआ। हुआ क्या ? ठीक है, प्रकाश का दर्शन हो गया। अब ? मैं तो वहीं के वहीं खड़ा हूं।
तो गुरु उनको हाथ जोड़ने लगे। उनसे कहने लगे, अब तुम किसी और के पास जाओ। हम तो जो जानते थे, वह हमने करवा दिया।
छह साल बुद्ध एक- एक गुरु, जो बिहार में उपलब्ध था उस वक्त, उसके पास गए । जो उसने कहा, वह किया। करके बताया कि यह हो गमा। अब ? अभी कोई सत्य तो दिखाई नहीं पड़ता।
लाओत्से की हिम्मत देखने जैसी है! आखिरी क्षण में भी वह कहता है, प्रतिबिंब ही होगा यह; क्योंकि अभी मैं बाकी हूं। सत्य तो वहां
है, जहां मैं भी नहीं हूं।

Buddha has said, as long as I can see anything, I will believe that the truth has not been reached yet. As long as anything is visible, I will agree, I have not yet reached the truth. I will not stop as far as the scene is. Me that
Need a place, where the scene is not left, where nothing is visible, where nothing is left, where Nikhalis is left empty, not before it.
So Buddha wandered for six years. The guru who went to… a guru would have made him see the light. Buddha says, light has become
Visions, but now? after this?
What's next! Light is seen, it is enough.
But the Buddha said, the light appeared, but nothing happened. What happened ? Okay, Prakash appeared. Now ? I am standing right there.
So Guru started connecting them. He said to them, now you go to someone else. We got what we knew.
Six years Buddha went to him - a guru, who was available in Bihar at that time. He did what he said. Told you that it was lost. Now ? No truth is visible yet.
Laotse's courage is like seeing! Even at the last moment, he says, it will be reflection; Because i'm still left The truth is there
Is where I am not either.
