धर्म की उत्सुकता है, उस यात्रा पर जो जाने को आतुर हुआ है, उसे सभी तरह की पूर्णताओं के प्रलोभन से बचना चाहिए । सभी तरह के प्रलोभन!
अहंकार पूरे होने की कोशिश करेगा। अहंकार की सारी साधना यही है कि पूर्ण कैसे हो जाऊं ! और ताओ तो उसे मिलेगा, जो खाली हो जाए; जहां अहंकार बचे ही नहीं।
जिन धर्मों ने शून्य होने की व्यवस्था की, उनमें प्रार्थना की कोई जगह नहीं है। अगर पूर्ण होना है, तो परमात्मा से प्रार्थना करनी पड़ेगी। तब भी नहीं हो सकते। और अगर शून्य होना है, तो किसी परमात्मा की सहायता की जरूरत नहीं पड़ेगी। आप काफी हो। कोई मांग नहीं करनी पड़ेगी।
जिन धर्मो ने शून्य होने की व्यवस्था की, जैसे बुद्ध ने या लाओत्से ने, उनमें प्रार्थना की कोई जगह नहीं है। प्रेयर का कोई मतलब ही नहीं है। क्योंकि मांगना हमें कुछ है ही नहीं, तो क्या प्रार्थना करनी है! किससे प्रार्थना करनी है! जो हमारे पास है, उसे छोड़ देंगे; और झंझट खतम हो जाती है।

There is no place of prayer in the religions which have arranged to be void. If it is to be completed, one has to pray to God. Even then it cannot be. And if there is to be zero, then no divine help will be needed. You are enough No demand will have to be made.
Prayer has no place in the religions which have arranged to be void, like Buddha or Lao Tzu. There is no meaning of prayer. Because we have nothing to ask, what to pray for? Whom to pray for! We will leave what we have; And the mess is over.
