अरस्तू कहता है कि प्रकृति बीमारियां देती है, तो प्रकृति से लड़ो । इसलिए पश्चिम का पूरा विज्ञान प्रकृति से संघर्ष है। सारी भाषा लड़ाई की है। लाओत्से के ऊपर साइंस का पूरा ढांचा , स्ट्रेक्चर खड़ा हो, तो साइंस विलकुल दूसरी होगी। लड़ने की भाषा में नहीं होगी, सहयोग की भाषा में होगी। कांफ्लिक्ट नहीं, कोऑपरेशन ! संघर्ष नहीं, सहयोग! तब हम और ही ढंग से सोेेचेंगे। और जो आदमी संघर्ष की भाषा में सोचता है, उसका तर्क वही है की अ अ है, ब ब है; इसलिए अगर अ को पाना है, तो ब को हटाओ तो अ बढ़ जाएगा। अगर स्वास्थ्य को पाना है, तो बीमारी से लड़ो। बीमारी हटा लो, तो स्वास्थ्य बढ़ जाएगा। नहीं।
लाओत्से कहता है, प्रकृति पर विजय नहीं पाई जा सकती, क्योंकि तुम प्रकृति हो। और जो विजय पाने चला है, वह प्रकृति का ही हिस्सा है। विजय पाने की कोशिश में तुम सिर्फ तनाव से भर जाओगे, संताप से भर जाओगे। प्रकृति को जीओ, विजय पाने मत जाओ। प्रकृति से लड़ कर तुम उसके राज मत पूछो, प्रकृति से प्रेम करो, उसमें डुबो , वह अपने राज खोल देती है।
